Miss Universe 2017 pageant will only be televised on Sunday, January 29, the preliminaries are well underway — and the wildly elaborate national costumes have been unveiled.
The national costume is one of the most anticipated portions of the competition. Countries are given a chance to show off their culture thorugh the outfits they are wearing.
More than 85 contestants from around the world are vying for the title and crown, with three days of preliminary interviews and events, before the final will be held on Monday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
