Result: Amir Khan defeated Chris Algieri (unanimous decision, 115-113, 117-111, 117-111)
Khan won, but not convincingly. He looked slow and sloppy. He needs to work on his power punching rather than just point scoring. He is definitely no longer a glass chin fighter, he seems to take shots much better now. To keep himself from failing at such heights, he needs to improvise a bit more. Im a Khan fan, but I have no regrets dishing out some constructive criticism. He needs to improve more before he becomes the worlds best in his weight class.
Algieri, who fought an amazing, powerful fight. He landing some impressive punches and was definitely the puncher. He was beaten by a Boxer, out smarted and out punched. Picked apart. Not the kind of fight I like to watch, I like the sluggers. But this is what it is.
I thought Algieri fought very well. How did you think it went?
